Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a single-head and a multi-head machine?

A single-head machine runs one garment at a time. A multi-head machine runs the same design on 2, 4, 6, 8, or 12 garments in parallel — useful for production runs of caps or uniforms where every piece carries the same logo.

Do I need a computer to operate a Ricoma machine?

The RCM1201TC and other current models have a built-in 7" touchscreen with onboard digitizing. You can design or import from USB. A separate computer is optional, not required.

Can I do caps?

Yes. All Ricoma single-head and multi-head machines support cap embroidery with the optional cap attachment kit. We stock the kit and include cap training in the on-site install.
