What is DTF printing?
Direct-to-Film printing lays down white + CMYK inks on a transfer film, then applies hot-melt adhesive powder and cures it. The finished transfer is heat-pressed onto the garment. It works on cotton, polyester, blends, and dark fabrics — no weeding, no pretreatment.
What garments can I print on?
Cotton, polyester, poly-blends, tri-blends, denim, canvas, and most natural or synthetic apparel fabrics. DTF transfers also work on caps, totes, and other flat goods.
What production volume is a DTF line sized for?
A single 24" DTF line produces 80-150 transfers per hour depending on artwork complexity. For higher volume, add a second printer in parallel or step up to a wider print head.
